Besides the Khan family —Lailas brother Fardeen Khan, uncle and aunt Sanjay and Zarine Khan, and cousins Sussane and Hrithik Roshan, Farah and Aqeel Ali and Simone Khan Arora — Bollywood was also represented by the Bachchan parivar accompanied by Amar Singh, Randhir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Gupta, Riteish Deshmukh, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Javed Jaaferi, Ameesha Patel, Kishen Kumar, Johnny Lever, Bharat Shah, Alvira and Atul Agnihotri and Rekha (who entered well after the Bachchans had left). Vinod Khanna walked in with his wife Kavita and sister-in-law Gauri Pohoomal and the three brothers-in-white — Abbas, Mustan and Hussain — came together.

Chhagan Bhujbal was also there for a short while. Subrata Roy greeted Fardeen with a warm hug and blessed the couple. Atul Kasbekar and Rahul Akerkar enjoyed some small talk over food and drinks while Mustafa and Rukshana Eisa, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, Prerna Goel, Madhoo, Kaykasshan Patel, Sharmilla Khanna, Surily Goel, Tara Sharma and Shaina NC were among the string of guests present. Bose Krishnamachari, Sunil and Tanuja Padwal, Brinda Miller and Arzan Khambatta represented the art frat. The couple cut a 60 kg white and gold marzipan cake made by Desiree. What a night it was!!!

Director Ram Gopal Varma says he will cast Hitesh Sharma, who accepted the challenge to watch "Phoonk 2" alone in a theatre but couldn't win it, in the third instalment of the spooky thriller as a gift.

"I basically want to thank him (Hitesh) on behalf of the whole unit of 'Phoonk 2' and I am going to give a gift personally later. He is going to work with me in 'Phoonk 3'. That's my commitment in front of the media," said Varma.

Before the release of "Phoonk 2", Varma had said that anyone who could watch the film without getting scared would win Rs.500,000, but none of the contestants could sit with a steady heart through the horror flick. Among the five short-listed from different parts of India, Hitesh from Mumbai got the opportunity to finally take the hot seat. He was shown the film alone and his heart beat was monitored with an ECG machine, but he didn't win the challenge. Directed by debutant Milind Gadagkar, "Phoonk 2" released Friday.

Bollywood star Salman Khan is the latest actor from tinsel town to have joined the micro-blogging site Twitter.

"Arbaaz ne kaha ke Tweet karna toh banta hai boss. Chalo now, whoever was being me, party over, baju hatto please (Arbaaz said that I must Tweet. So now whoever was being me, please move aside)," Salman said in his initial posts.

The actor was welcomed on Twitter by jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali who is amongst the most regular celebrities on the website. "Hey guys please welcome the one and only superstar actor Salman Khan on Twitter @BeingSalmanKhan. Big shout to him," Farah posted.

The actor had injured his knee some time back and it has been troubling him ever since. This time, hes not in a mood to take any chances with any quick fix measures — Kolkata Knight Riders physiotherapist Andrew Leipus has been assigned the responsibility of treating SRKs knee.

Earlier, physiotherapist Ali Irani was treating the actors knee. Our source said, SRK is doing some high energy stunts in his home production Ra.One which will be filmed soon. The last two days of the shoot were cancelled because of Bobby Chawlas (CEO of SRKs Red Chillies) health scare. The next schedule of Ra.One is drawing near and SRK hopes the exercises Andrew has prescribed will fix his knee problem in time.

Earlier, Shah Rukhs back problem had given him a lot of trouble during an energetic song sequence he did for Boney Kapoors Shakti.

Ra.One is a superhero film and Shah Rukhs character will have to do several high risk stunts and he really needs to be physically fit to pull them off, added the source. SRK remained unavailable for comment.

Tum Milo Toh Sahi movie review

Story: Dimple Kapadia's little tea house is threatened to be swallowed by a bigger chain of coffee stores. But Lucky Cafe isn't an ordinary cafe. It has been the communion point for all kinds of Mumbaikars who now rally around to save the heritage site from greedy multinationals. Leading the crusade is the crabby lawyer, Nana Patekar, who also couldn't stay immune to the charms of the friendly Parsi neighbour.

Movie Reviews: Where have you been, Nana? And why don't we see more of you, Dimple? These are the two questions that primarily stare you in the face as you sit through Tum Milo Toh Sahi, a sweet little ode to the spirit of the quintessential Mumbaikar who manages to connect, communicate and build lasting bonds in the milling crowds. The two veteran actors create such a warm picture of humaneness, warmth and togetherness, it leaves you asking for more. And the fact that they are total opposites -- he's Subbu, the reclusive, angry, Tamilian and she's Delshad, the delightful, exuberant Parsi -- makes the bonding crackle and shine some more.

Ever since their first meeting which begins with a fight in a mall, the duo take you by the scruff of your collar and make you sit up and watch them as they chart out a friendship graph that weaves through unchartered territory. Like, Nana playing the violin in his dead mother's room, while Dimple watches or Dimple trying to convince him to open up his house, and himself too, to let in some fresh air. Eventually, Nana does play crusader and try and save her cafe from the land sharks, but it is the smaller nuances and the several unsaids between the adult couple which makes for compelling viewing.

The other actors too manage to create some firmly-etched cameos. There's Suneil Shetty and Vidya Malvade, the discord-ridden couple who are on the verge of a split. And there are the mass communication students, Rehan Khan and Anjana Sukhani, who may or may not transform their fuchha-senior relation

Sources reveal that in spite of having a water phobia, Ranbir performed an entire underwater sequence, which took over 4-hours to shoot, with ease and like a true professional. In fact, he did not even let the production crew know about his phobia till after the sequence was completed. While performing yet another tough sequence of climbing a high wall to pull out a few daggers, Ranbir hurt his hand. But with the famous Kapoor blood in his veins and with his will and determination, he went ahead and completed the shot!

Everything was fine until ZOOM anchor Nandini Vaid began asking the crew about how it was for such a diverse cast to work together. Established stars with newcomers. At that Shahid replied with, Yes, these young actors are relatively new and take a while to get into the groove.

It led to all the other three taking offense and reacting angrily. But Shahid went on stating that he felt Vir Das was a miscast for the film. It led Anushka to jump to Virs defence with a, You didnt cast for them, so how can you say that. It upset Shahid greatly and he retorted by saying, Why are you jumping in? Its between me and Vir.
